[DeTomaso] Timing Light Question

You'll get a single flash each time the crank rotates past TDC if the 
ignition is on and working. But due to inertia on the crank/rods/pistons etc, you'll 
be hard-pressed to actually check timing from a single flash. What it will 
tell you is that the ignition is working and maybe that the timing is 'about 
right'- if your eyes can follow the action! Good luck, Pat-J DeRyke
