I had the same thing happen on my new stroker. I replaced the "O" ring and used some RTV also and it still leaked! Turned out I had too much back pressure with the PCV valves on the valve covers. I went to new breathers and left the PVC's off. It also fixed the leaky valve covers.
Good Luck

It looks like it was RTVed into place, but that didn't hold. Besides seating into the block, my tube only has one secure mount to a valve cover mounting bolt (not sure if that's common or not??) and it just doesn't seem to make the distal end of the tube stay in place.> Any suggestions??? Ideas???> When the tube comes out of the block, it makes a BIG OILY MESS and I don't like it.> > > ---------------------------------> Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
