[DeTomaso] Dip Stick Tube Leak Solutions??

Why don't you take a round rod or other tool that is slightly smaller in 
diameter than the tube end that goes into the block and turn it in the tube so 
that the end is caused to get slightly larger. Before you do that check the 
position of the attachment bracket on the cover. It should not cause the tube to 
pull out, align (bend) it so that it is neutral. 

Clean the hole well, removing all oil with some sort of thinner and put some 
good silicone gasket maker or sealer that is not bothered by oil or gasoline 
on the end of the tube.
Then tap it into the hole and bolt it down.

I suspect it is coming out because the bracket is under tension, pulling on 
it.
