You can use RapidShare, or You Send It. The You Send It is probably the best for a one time download by him. I have a RapidShare account you can use if you need it. The only reason for the RS account is that their servers are centered in Europe (but try the YSI system first).

You need to go to www.yousendit.com, and then fill in the blanks as to who you are, and where it's going. That's essentially your email address, and his email address. Then you browse to the file (make sure it's a zip file, that's the safest), and then click on the file name. You have to "stay" at that web page while it's uploading, by it won't be more than a few minutes. 

Once it's uploaded, the YSI system will send you a email with the download link for your "uploaded" file. They'll also send an email to the other guy, with that download link in it. All he needs to do is double click on that download link, and receive the file. 

It's about as simple as falling off a log.
