[DeTomaso] Another Odd Pantera on ebay

Ken,

The VIN image only appeared in the very first ad.  After I called the seller
directly, and discussed it with him, he agreed to provide other details,
like the motor & ZF number.

More than a week went by.

Instead, a dealer re-listed the car, but without the VIN photo.  Then the
car came up in a forum discussion (here).  Some time later the topic
propagated over to the PI BB also.  

Photos of the car and VIN are in the Mystery VIN section of the Mystery car
page on my website.

I have other "Mystery VIN" cars I will eventually add to this section.

I remembered the VIN thing, but I didn't see a picture of a stamped over VIN
with this car.  Maybe they pulled that picture?  Looks nice, but sure are a
lot of questions.

This car has some odd features:

The rear fender wells are fabricated from sheet metal like post US cars
and it looke like there are holes for the small rear bumpers. They say the
floor pans were replaced, maybe the entire rear of the car too ????
