If it's made in Canada, then why is it cheaper to buy in the US? I can't
explain it. I just bought a Ford truck in Michigan and saved $15k
Gas is 1.08 per liter ( $4.32/gallon)
smokes are about $9.00/pack of 25
Beer is $34 for 24 bottles
my home taxes are $5000/year (average home)
If you make over $50k/yr , you'll pay over 50% tax
It's a great incentive to go out and work hard.
OR, if you want to stay home and puff phatties all day, our government will
be happy to send your monthly cheques directly to you.
Thanks for bringing up the topic. I was having such a great night and now
I'm going to have to get hammered. ;>
Will

Hey Will,

I drive a 2003 GM that was made in Canada, I'm curious as to why it is
cost effective to build cars there if taxes are higher?

I read that the US imports 1.8 million barrels of oil a DAY from Canada.
Not too long ago, oil was $30 a barrel, so that means someone up there is
making an extra $126 million a day. Seems like that should help the tax
bills?
