[DeTomaso] 302 diagnosis

I came into this conversation late....but my $.01

If all cylinders are low, I would suspect the cam.

But...

Was it running well and then soured?

Or weak since the last time it was opened?

Was it ever over-revved?  A timing chain jump can cause these readings, but
someone's suggestion of popping exhaust/intake can be a symptom.... but not
always.

There is nothing like being present during the testing... Care to fly me
over?

Thanks for the reply.  The timing chain and cam were recently replaced and
should be OK as far as timing.  Cylinders 2-4 register 75psi and cylinder
1and 5-8 register 55psi.  The motor is a 24,000 miler which has had good
maintenance.  No coolant to oil or oil to coolant leaks.  No popping out of
the exhaust or carb.  The motor runs perfect until it warms up.
