The square-head pipe plug in the block that must be removed, will fit in the 
water tank to plug the sender hole when you move it. The stock wire is long 
enough to reach,and you may find a resiistor in the gauge line,too. Niehoff 
sender # TS-25621 from NAPA is equivalent to the Autozone TS 58. Good luck- J
