[DeTomaso] SPC - Do headers affect scavenging in individual cylinders?

In addition to equal length runs,  the F1 guys are said to taper 
everything by the individual cylinder.
Maybe a bit more noticeable when you're pulling 800HP from 150 ci at 
19000 revs though.
