Or the time I started braking when the light changed at a stop  light. This 
guy in a hopped up Japanese car had been swiftly  approaching on my right to 
get a good look. Unfortunately, he didn't see  the light or the slowing car in 
front of him until it was too late. He braked  and almost got stopped in time.
