[DeTomaso] Is A Pantera On The Freeway An Idiot Magnet?

You don't have to be on the freeway.
 
Last summer...during the now famed Concours De La Garage...in Marin....I'm
leading a parade of about 15 Panteras through downtown Novato to the
restaurant where we are to have dinner.
 
Half way down the main drag...through multiple stop signs...well below
whatever the limit is...I pass one of Novato's finest watching us go past.
I get down about another block and see that he's all lit up half way down
the Pantera formation.  
 
I say to myself...damn...I hope he's not popping someone for making too much
noise.  Turns out I was wrong.  
 
Some bozo in a hyped up Camaro decided to light it up next to the
Panteras....in full view of our local gendarme....and got popped.
 
All I will say is....I creep in and out of this town whenever I go for a
spin in the Pantera.  Forewarned is forearmed!
