Thank you all for your useful hints and the useless, but funny banter.

Me and my Longchamp reside at Helsinki, Finland. We have clear cut division
of responsiblities: I try to earn as much money as I can, and she tries to
consume as much money as possible. At the moment I have to say she is doing
a better job, by far..

It´s good to see these car finally getting the attention they deserve, as
Jan´s , mine and some other peoples restorations demonstrate. Mine had a
single owner for the past 33 years, but utterly useless - no let me rephrase
that- a mechanic that should be shot on sight, taking care of it.

At the moment the car has the body work done(new sills, front floors and a
bit of a door, etc), with the exception the paint job. Engine has been
rebuilt and upgraided as is the transmission. Still a long way to go, but it
should be getting a good running in next summer. Then hopefully a trip to
Modena in 2009!
