Hello Frank
I was just reading your post and answers Re: L & Pre-L.  I never  thought 
about which would be better when I bought my car.  Though, now I  think that the 
original is the best, meaning the purity of the lines without the  "bumpers" 
looks better to me.  I also think that the vinyl covered dash  looks better 
than the hard plastic of the L.  And, I don't have trouble  reading the tach or 
speedo.
