I'm with you--which is why I put a complete interior from a 1974 Pantera into 
my 1972 Pre-L.   If I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn't have 
bothered though.

European GTS Panteras probably have the best of all possible worlds, as they 
all have the single-pod late-style-looking dash (although in fact it is 
completely different from the normally encountered single-pod dash in function and 
construction), with the pre-L bumperettes, and often desirable goodies such as 
an aluminum intake manifold, Holley carburetor, GTS exhaust system, and 8/10 
inch wheels.   But Euro GTS Panteras are fairly thin on the ground in the USA.
