[DeTomaso] L or pre L

The pre-L had the stronger engine and the more aesthetic bumpers.  The L
had corrections to problems found in the earlier model.  However, over
the years, owners have made updates to correct factory problems and to
increase engine power, so the differences between the Pre-L and L are
more an issue of taste than substance.

That said, I actually prefer the pre-L's two pod dash and internal fuel
filler, but that's just me.

i've been looking for a Pantera for some months now and 
have a question i haven't seen addressed before.
are there any good reasons to prefer an L over a
