Steve,
Has anyone ever reversed the order of attachment on the bridge between the shock mounts and the ZF?

That is, make the bolt in rubber mounts on the bridge a solid bolt on one to the frame and the transmission mount that is originally solid
flexible. 

This would make the rear structure a closed in cage rather than an open U shape.
