[DeTomaso] Pantera Stereo/Speaker install question

Well, it gets you a drum roll, anyway! I had an old K Zildjain some time ago that was also made in Constantinople; before the Zildjian brothers came to the USA. It would be interesting to date your cymbal. What diameter is it?

Chris

Sometime in the 1700 century, I think 1623 if I remember right!? By Avedis Jildjian, in Constantinople. My Grandfather made me learn stuff like this if I was going to play the drums. I have an original Zildjian cymbal made in Turkey, not sure what year it was made?

Does this info win me a Beer? Baw ha ha ha

Right again! I have no idea why I said electrolytic--that's the kind you
don't want to use. You do want non-polar.

I think I must be older than I think; either that, or all the car installs I
did back when I was doing it full-time are gradually fading from memory. It
was, after all, the 1980's when I worked at "The Stereo Shoppe"
which has been out of business for years.

As far as Radio Shack, I actually have purchased them there before, but again,
you may be right since they have moved more and more from actual useful
electronic parts to radio-controlled toys and cell phones.

Clay, if you need a couple of NON_POLAR capacitors, send me your address and
I'll send you two of them free.

Thanks again for the correction Doug. One of these days I'm going to
figure out something about which I know more than you! I know--drum equipment!
I'll bet you don't know the year the Zildjian cymbal company was
established...

Sincerely,
