Ok if its a component set you have?two crossovers, that has 1 input,??1 low output that goes to the bass or mid driver playing from the floor to around 2 to 3khz -that way it will not sound so pipey and have a smother response, and 1 high or tweeter output that is around 2.5 to 3.5kkhz and up. the gap is to reduce overlap and also the amp only sees 1 speaker total as it only playing one at a time in any given freq range. you can run them on the fr or rear no diff unless you amp is biger on the rear ch. if the same size fr and rear you can also bridge the amp mono and use the fr as left and rear as right as this will give you the max power. you will need y plugs or put the right rcas fr and rear in the rear inputs and same for left, put the fader in the center. and last placement you want the tweeter as far front and ear level as you can get it. point them at you for more detail and point across the car for more depth of sound. the same for the mid but you dont get a choice in this placement most of the time. If that are low in the door try?pointing them up. but they must seal to the door. and last you can put the x-overs next to the batt but if you want to be picky you are to put them close to the speakers?
