Need a little more info on what you're running. Stock intake valves were
different lengths than stock exhausts and aftermarket valves can be had in varying
lengths. Aftermarket spring retainers are made to different spring heights
for different valve-stem lengths and for engines using lash caps, and
aftermarket valves are available with varying keeper groove heights and tapers. All this
influences valvetrain geometry, which is why some engines make more power and
last longer than others with identical parts inside. Cheers- J Deryke
