One other thing you might check is the vent for the fuel tank. If the hose
is pinched or the venting otherwise blocked, symptoms like yours can result.

Hi Mike,

Ralph has been "zeroing in" on the coil also. He did say though, that it was
"cool to the touch".

That sort of intermittant crap-out has been reported by others here before;
I seem to recall the coil was the culprit in each case.
