[DeTomaso] 351 C rescued from the wreckers

Thanks to Steve Liebenow (I know I'm butchering the spelling) a 71 351C has been set aside for use in a Pantera.
Steve spotted this treasure at a San Jose Pick n Pull. 
I flew up to the Bay Area last Wednesday, and inspected the trunk sizes of all the rental cars, (the staff probably thought I was looking to move bodies).
After selecting a full size Mercury Marquis I met Steve at the wreckers and we man-handled the iron into the trunk. It looked like a nice, original bore block with no cracks, 2V heads and a clean crank.
I unloaded it at my Yosemite cabin and will bring it down to SoCal next month for clean up and sonic testing.
Even though I don't currently need a Cleveland, given my rate of blowing them up it seems to make sense to plan ahead.
