Um... Before and after photos can be found in the Registry:

The photos speak for them selves. This car was the last Pre-L made. It is great to
hear that Art's injuries were not much worse.

Thanks Michael,
I bought the car back from the insurance company, I will salvage what
I can. Wawanesa, my insurer, has only offered me only 35K for the car, so
that meant WAR! I feel my car was worth way more than that. I have hired
an appraiser, they have hired an appraiser and both are now looking for an
umpire. I was wearing my seatbelt as I always do. I'm glad I was not
wearing a harness, had I been, I might not have been able to write this
email. I did not have a roll bar. The roof was crushed on the driver's
side and I think my three point seat belt/shoulder strap allowed my torso to
move to the relatively undamaged passenger side. I was apparently
unconscious, upside down in the car when I was found. Gas was leaking from
the damaged tank. I had plumbed the fuel from the bottom of the tank,
which ripped it open. I recently noticed that the tank was also punctured
in another location. There was no fire. No known mechanical failure, I
really don't know what happened, I just don't remember. I will send a link
with pictures. And yes, I have started shopping!
