[DeTomaso] Silver State - No Pantera's?

Right now not one Pantera is registered for Silver State!!! 
  Hard to believe huh? Tell me it ain't so Joe!
   
  I can't imagine there not being one Pantera (or Mangusta) at Silver State but right now its not looking good. I haven't heard from everyone but right now all the veteran racers who contacted me last night or today are OUT....all the rookies who said they were going are also OUT. Its going from bad to worse.
   
  If you are within 500 (no 1,000 miles) from Nevada and your Pantera can pass tech and you can fog up a mirror you need to step up and  represent.
   
  We've had a t least one or more Pantera's at Silver State every year since 1989 and not to have one there this year would be a sad day in hell.
   
  I haven't given up on having my Pantera ready but right now I am in Sac working and the Pantera is 450 miles south of me  and the new clutch and flywheel aren't replaced yet. If I have to take some leave days to get that Pantera ready I will. But if anything else is not ready I will soon run out of time.
   
  If no one steps up and registers for Silver State for 2008 it will truely be a sad day. ;-(>
  That will be a 1st.
   
  I'd ignite the flamethrower to try and get you slackers motivated but I think most of you old fokkers would see that as an excuse  to give up.
   
  So man up and get your bad ass ride to Ely Nevada to run ahead of the hordes of Vettes, Vipers and showroom racers.
