No matter where it’s held the prices should be more negotiable than ever.  A
friend of mine lives in “Lost Wages” and he says business is way down.  He
says that you can actually drive down the strip on a weekend and not get
stuck in traffic.  My Department has been holding recruitment drives in
Vegas.  Recruiters just returned from this last trip and said that the place
was really slow.  There are many Hawaii “transplants” applying for the
Honolulu Police in an attempt to come home because the jobs are drying up
there due to the economic slowdown.  Yup, its hitting all of us, even Sin
City!
