Chris,

The June date for Reno is in hopes that the weather will be more predictable 
as it often isn't in the April/May time frame. Then again, we've had some cool 
weather in June so no guarantees on either date or town.   This spring we had 
lovely weather in March only to turn cold in April, so go figure!   Of 
course, as I've mentioned before we're in the high desert - both Vegas and Reno - so 
Mother Nature can be unpredictable.
