I have a friend selling a red 71 (I think) vette roadster with a 454 and a 5 speed (original 4 speed in the box). Supposedly in perfect shape. Looked great in the pictures. Anyone interested/ maybe buy it then trade for the Pantera??

Asa,

I loved the Vette roadsters I had, they just got to be a too expensive for a toy, and at least the older Vettes weren't the most solid feeling cars.  They were great for a casual drive on a sunny afternoon.

To bad they can't spell "brake" (three times in a row).

Very nice looking Pantera.  Looks like they just took it out of the
Hot Wheels box.  I would think after spending that kind money, the
wife would at least want to get some value out of it.  Once she
experiences a convertible, especially a Stingray convertible, she'll
probably want to go back to the Pantera.
