You got it!   We've experienced all that in Vegas as well as here; that's the 
high desert for you.   After 7 years we've gotten somewhat used to it - 
meaning always keep a jacket as well as water in the car!   After having high 90's 
all last week, its just nudging low 70's at the moment!   At least the AC can 
take a breather today.   :)

I still remember one year when the PCNC guys wanted to do an extra early 
start on leaving Vegas before the sand destroyed their paint jobs; it was fierce.
