[DeTomaso] fuel cell as oil cooler ???

WTF?

No, no, no

cold dense air is why cars run better on cooler days, more air in the
cylinders, thus more power.

Same as why Nitro engines make 8,000 HP, more air, the compression ratio in
a Top Fuel/Funny car is only 3 or 4 to 1.

Back in the glory days of NHRA my Day raced a 389 GTO tri-power and my job
was to go to the concession stand and get ice to put into a "cold can" which
looked like a quart sized paint can filled with a copper line coiled around
the inside ( looking like an inside out still ) where the ice was dumped and
the fuel would then be routed through the copper, getting colder, before
going into the carbs.

Hot gas makes vapor lock in a card fiited car.
