Get a long throw stainless steel slave cylinder from Marino at Pantera East.
$130.

Dear Chuck,

It is the slave cylinder (now you said its name I remember talking about it
with the guys when we pulled the engine last year). I'll take a look when I
get back from vacation; if not much more has seeped I'll probably risk going
on the Birch Bay Panteras NW trip and when I'm back I'll order the part.

I love your "dumb idea" but I have already had my Pantera club guys spend
waaaaay too much of their time on my car. I keep trying to think of ways
to help them somehow to return all the favors, but most of them have
forgotten more than I know about Panteras, and therefore my trying to help
them with anything turns out to me more of a liability! Of course, if any
of them ever want a way to keep the engine bay fan-cooled I could help them
build a unique engine cover...!

By the way, any idea of how much a new slave cylinder costs?

Thanks,

Chris
