Sure do: ANY 4-V intake when bolted to 2-V heads will really enhance the
acceleration and lower end of the powerband. The giant mismatch in port sizes acts
like an anti-reversion step (for which you pay extra with other setups). Up
around 5500 rpms, the power will drop off rapidly but as I said, in the lower
rpm ranges, both power and mileage increase noticably. I lent an old Holley
open-plenum intake as an experiment on a fairly heavily built-up 351C in a
friend's Pantera, and he was ecstatic- he wouldn't give my intake back! He said all
of a sudden, driving the car on the steet was fun once again. So give it one
of your old intakes a try- you may be pleasantly surprised and save a couple
