I also have the GM master.  It was a Corvette MC which is important in
that like the Pantera it also had disk brakes front and rear, so the
bowls on the master are sized appropriately vs. the masters that serve
disk/drum setups.

I think is was early 70s vintage.  Anyway, your local parts store should
have them in-stock for around $100.

I must confess to CRS, but a couple of years ago I swapped out my brake
master cylinder for an early 80's GM unit.  Unfortunately, I can't find
my
paperwork that had a part number, and one of our members is looking to
do
the same conversion.

I believe it was a Cadillac or Olds unit.  Anyone out there with
knowledge
on which GM unit it is that fits our cars?  74 L model.
