One of the dirty secrets of the CMC unit is that it uses a different thread 
than the original, so in order to install it, you have to cut your clutch line, 
remove and discard the stock fitting, install a new one, and flare the line 
again with a brake flaring tool.

One of many reasons why I vastly prefer just installing a factory replacement 
unit, especially since they are so cheap nowadays.
