I tried to get J.T. to test the temp with his tongue, but he declined. He

Both are effective at reducing under-hood temperatures. Wrapping headers
is
highly effective at destroying headers in short order. Racers do it, and
then throw their headers away once or twice a season.
Colin Bradshaw in the UK wrapped his headers on his GT5-S. After some
period of time (which I don't know), he went to unwrap them and simply
crushed the
headers with his bare hands. That generated an emergency call to the USA
for
replacement headers--coated!
There's only one way to go on a street car with expensive headers....
