[DeTomaso] Orleans--it's good to check!

Hi guys,

I phoned the Orleans hotel in Las Vegas to add a name to my room (I always 
reserve a room for two, then find somebody to split it with me later on) only to 
find out that they had lost my room reservation!!!!

I had actually reserved two rooms when I called them back in January, one for 
me and the other for Stephane Bergeron and Christophe Mathieu, who are coming 
from France.   Apparently the clerk made my reservation, and then instead of 
making a second on, instead over-wrote it with their info!

Anyway, the hotel agreed it was their mistake and they honored the original 
room pricing, and made a second reservation for me.

Unless you have something in writing from them with your name on it (I 
didn't), it would be a good idea to call and confirm your reservation.   You do NOT 
want to be standing in the lobby on the day, only to find out that you have to 
sleep in your Pantera!

Mike (admittedly there are worse places to sleep, especially if you have 
Recaros....) :>)
