[DeTomaso] What happened to the old one?

It keeps the name alive but that's about it. Just like any other "revival"
car, really. New Triumph motorcycles have styling cues from the old but
that's about it. New Bugattis have a horseshow shaped grill but that's it.
Should we talk about the Mangusta II? 

That's the price of "progress".

I don't see how they can call it a Pantera if it has a Lambo V10 and all
wheel drive.

The simple American V-8 is one of the best parts of the Pantera.
