[DeTomaso] What kind of steel was used in the contruction ofthepantera?

I had heard that they were made with steel imported from the Soviet Union.

I have heard that they melted down the beer cans that they collected after
WW II. Also might have some coat hangers in the mix.

I know someone mention this not too long ago but I couldn't find it after
searching around for like 30 mins. What kind of steel was used to put the
pantera together? Some type of mild steel? A36? 4130?

And if any of you know the general thickness of the steel used to put the
frame together, that would be nice too :)
