Are you talking about a window, or a windshield?

There's really nothing special about installing any of the side or rear 
glass.   The windshield is an ordinary installation too EXCEPT that often there is 
serious rust in the channel at the bottom of the windshield opening.   When 
you remove the old windshield, if there is rust present, STOP and have new metal 
welded in before the new glass goes in.
