It's worse than that.  Italians don't use coat hangers so they had to be
imported from England.

The other rumor I heard was that the reason Panteras went out of production
was the shift to aluminum cans.

I have heard that they melted down the beer cans that they collected after
WW II. Also might have some coat hangers in the mix.

I know someone mention this not too long ago but I couldn't find it after
searching around for like 30 mins. What kind of steel was used to put the
pantera together? Some type of mild steel? A36? 4130?

And if any of you know the general thickness of the steel used to put the
frame together, that would be nice too :)
