Indeed--I landed back in Germany under drizzling skies at about 2:00 p.m.  By 
4:00 p.m. I was behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo rental car (with two other 
guys from my crew with me), and by 5:00 p.m. we were standing at the musum at 
the Nurburgring.  The museum closed at 5 but they let us in anyway.  By 6:00 
p.m. we were out on the track, and even though it was off-and-on drizzling and 
wet, I still had a lot of fun, and I drove four laps of the 14-mile track, 
before they finally closed down and kicked us off.

We then drove back to the base, got some dinner at the Chinese restaurant, 
and now we've been up for about 30 hours so it's time for bed.

Tomorrow I'm flying to Las Vegas.   Yeah, this has been a pretty good trip! :>
