[DeTomaso] Compression ratio question

What compression pressure you get depends on a bunch of things- not the least 
being the way the test is run, but no one thinks about bore size. A 3-1/2" 
bore/2.8-L engine running at 10:1 C.R with an Isky cam regularly gave me around 
200+- psi while a similar 10:1 setup in a 4" bore/5.8-L   engine typically 
gives 160 psi. All this is why I seldom run compression tests any more; I get 
more info from a leakdown test. FWIW- J DeRyke
