  Tires,

Um, yea. That should be a trick. I certainly had not planned on
running the ones currently on the Pantera. Which although new when I
purchased it, now have a couple trips to Las Vegas and several years on
them. If worse comes to worse, I can always buy four of the same times
and get them on the wheels. If worse than that, I happen to have a
spare set of Campy's on the Mach I, so I can match a set of rims to all
be the same size. I'll keep taking all the advice I can get.

Right now, I'm starting my list with things like:
- Seat belts
- Helmet
- Tires
- Brake Fluid Change
- Brake pad inspection and replacement if necessary (Porterfield)
- I've got the ball joints and a-arm bushings to put in
- Wheel bearing inspection all around and replacement if necessary.
- Inspect ZF for ring gear bolt safety wire, fix as necessary
- Determine leak points on ZF and order gasket seals as necessary
- Nomex driving suit, gloves, shoes? (whatever is required for the
100-115 classes)
- Belts and hoses
- New expansion tank and overflow tank (reroute overflow tube behind wheel)
- Replace U-joints on the half-shafts

I'm mapping all these things. I don't get out of school until next May
and may not have enough time to get it all done for the Sept 08 race,
but if not that one, perhaps the next.
