[DeTomaso] Shipping a Pantera to Sweden

Doug - 
I shipped a Pantera from NY to France, and then from France to California so
I've been through the shipping process a couple of times. 

I have never been through the IMPORTATION process, as I drove on US plates
while living in France and Spain. 

For me, the process was relatively painless. Feel free to pass on my e-mail
address if they would like to speak to someone who has first-hand knowledge
of the subject.

 A potential buyer from Sweden has inquired about buying my car. He asked me
what I knew about shipping a car overseas and I had to confess ignorance on
the subject. I know there are guys from Sweden on this list and maybe some
who have imported a Pantera from the States. If anyone can offer advice on
the subject of overseas shipping please contact me. Better yet, maybe one of
our Swedish brethern can contact the buyer and offer him some advice,
countryman to countryman.
