[DeTomaso] DeTomaso Digest, Vol 39, Issue 31 Earthquake

I recently visited Idaho.  Much of the area is an "active" volcanic area.
(The same source as the Yellowstone thermal activity).
...and Mt. St. Helens is just up wind.

There is strong evidence that there is a pattern of substantial activity
every 2,000 years.  Um, when was the last activity in this Idaho area?

Oh, a little more than 2,000 years ago.  

There are hazards everywhere.  If it is not Mother Nature, it's the humans,
or other lower creatures.  Take your pick.

Oh, yea, we have all made our choice, and are living with it.  Grin.

Hmmm, move where?  If its East of New Mexico you'll have tornado's or
hurricanes instead of earthquakes.  Maybe Idaho? :)  Where is the place
with great weather and no earthquakes, hurricanes, or tornadoes?

My wife and I were at my old shop picking a few things up just before
the earthquake... we drove off to dinner and never felt a thing....
After we came home and found out about the quake at 11pm I had a problem
sleeping
 
We have bought a new bldg for our cars 4800 sf my brother and I.
So in preparing the new shop I have things stacked up all around the old
place... My Pantera is partially under my brothrers 32 on a stacker, the
Mustang is on jackstands right next the the Firebird... I had visions of
four cars all wrecked at once.... Today all was well but it was a long
night.. time to move before something really goes wrong
