something new about an object you've seen everyday. Suddenly it looks different.  It may be 
issues with short term memory, but hey! every day's a new day.  Where was I?  
 
Here's one for today:
   I just noticed that the oil filter (stock location) is only about 7/16" from the front header tube (factory GTS). 
It must contribute some heat to the oil but I doubt that it's a serious issue for most cars. This engine has some miles on it 
but still sees sustained (1 hour) 4 to 5 thousand rpms and 6K for a few minutes now and then.  Anybody have any thoughts about that?
 
I'll use this as a reason to add the remote filters I've had around for some time.
