Very nicely done!

However, instead of securing the new catch with screws or bolts, you should 
use studs, with nuts.   Use loc-tite to secure the studs in the riv-nuts; it 
will be much stronger that way.

Also, Hall Pantera didn't send you the 'wrong' part.   They sent you the 
RIGHT part to correct your problem--this is the same part that Ford invented to 
correct the design deficiency in the early cars.
