I'd like to know who did the repairs. It looks good from the photo's. A
good inspection would tell the true story on how bad the car is.

...I think the "sculptor" re-titled it in Arkansas, then re-titled
it again in CA to get rid of the DMV salvage stamp on the original title.
The unsuspecting owner sold it for a slight loss as soon as it was repaired.
This was part of the rationale for a comprehensive Pantera Registry for
POCA- the first edition of which came out in '94. History- J Deryke

Jack,

This is another reason I have been building the online Registry.
Understandably the now out-of-print Van Ess Registry didn't have photos, so
one could not differentiate between a small accident with limited damage and
something major.
Another advantage for current owners to send in photos of their car; it
documents the current condition, Like Bob Radefeld's beautiful car which was
hit this week. The recent photos in the Registry show a stunning car, in
unquestionably superb condition. This creates some linage to substantiate
the ongoing condition of a car for either the insurance adjuster in the
event of an accident, or a future buyer.

Personally, I added one or more photos of my little accident to the
Registry, to show that yes it was hit, but no it was not major damage, and
all the original body parts that were affected were repaired, except the
bumper which was replaced. Now that bumper took me a year to find a
suitable replacement...

Although this event did lead me down the path of doing some major
restoration on parts of the car that were not involved in the accident.
...and I have been meaning to add photos of the bare metal restoration
process.

Anyway, I think you (and others) can see the benefit of an online photo
Registry. I would think owners of original cars, cars that have never been
in an accident, and cars that have received a "bare metal" restoration,

>>> HAVE THE MOST TO GAIN <<<

by participating in the ProvaMo Registry.
