It sounds as if you had your answer before you asked the question.  I am 
glad it works out.  Seeing the effort you had already invested in creating 
the header upswing, it would have been terrible had there been interference. 
For clarification, as the suspension compresses and the tire eventually 
contacts the inner frame, is the exhaust pipe close to the inner wheel?  I 
must admit to being surprised the tire doesn't touch it then on the front or 
back side.
