[DeTomaso] Minimum Battery Size?

No problems (trickle) charging my red Optima.  Over 7 years old, and now
showing it's age.

Not my area of expertise but I vaguely remember something about 'normal 
battery chargers not working', or not working correctly, on Odyssey- or
