[DeTomaso] Minimum Battery Size?

A decent charger will have a switch to select the charge for the "normal"
lead-acid batteries or for the deep-cycle batteries.

Not my area of expertise but I vaguely remember something about 'normal 
battery chargers not working', or not working correctly, on Odyssey- or
maybe 
Optima batteries? Anyone?
