100+ mph will get the car towed, but you can get it back from the impound
lot after paying a fee.

The confiscate and crush laws apply to the "side show" racers.  If you poke
around YouTube, you can see clips of these idiots watching their riced-up
Hondas get flattened.  Of course, they get to keep making payments.

I heard that for speed over 100 mph in CA, your car will  confiscated and 
crushed. This supposedly happened to some ricers who were  ordered to watch
their 
cars being crushed. 
 
Talk about cruel and unusual!
